Whether your mobile devices are used in the OR core, in the operating room or at the patient’s bedside pre- or pos-surgery, you need to ensure these mobile devices are being properly sanitized and in compliance according to your infection control policies.

At Homestead Hospital, the surgery department is using 2 ElectroClaves to manage sanitization compliance of around 70 hospital issued mobile communication devices. One ElectroClave has been placed at the nurses station while the other ElectroClave is deployed in the OR core. These deployment locations allow for the disinfection of mobile devices with minimal disruption to staff workflow while increasing disinfection compliance.
